I love this little girl!
Hospital Picture
Very first Sunday...and she isn't very happy about it! Sometimes Robby does the same thing befor church.
Yes, I'm one of those mothers that puts over sized flowers on my child's head. No apologies here, I think it is cute!

Jaundice
Our poor little baby had a pretty tough time getting here. She was face up and sideways. Every time I pushed, her head would get stuck on my pubic bone and her shoulder on my pelvis. The doctor tried and tried to turn her but had no luck and it actually got really intense. He had to use the forceps and I have some really "pretty" incisions to show for it. I had a stage 4 episiotomy (ouch!!!!) Because of the bruising on her head she was pretty jaundice. Her doctor put on lights for 48 hours. They would bring her to us just long enough to feed her and then she had to go back under the lights, even though we got to see her every few hours it was hard and we missed her a ton. They would bring her to us on the Bili Blanket.
She looked like a little glow worm.

She has the BIGGEST eyes!
Friday morning we checked into the hospital at 7:30 am. They started my iv at about 8:15 and the doctor broke my water at around 9 am and told us to get comfortable because it would probably be a long day. I had brought DVDs, both our ipods, snacks for Robby, and some magazines.....totally prepared for the long haul. I guess Sophie had another plan! When I checked into the hospital I was almost dilated to a 4. I progressed so fast that I was a 10 and pushing by 12:30. Sophie was here at 1:49.
Best Feeling in the Whole World!
